1. Material Combination
Typically composed of copper and aluminum, connected via brazing technology, combining copper’s excellent electrical conductivity with aluminum’s advantages of light weight and low cost.
2. Structural Design
The clamp installs two conductors into separate connecting tubes, which are cast as a single unit with the terminal block. The outlet part adopts a semi-circular arc structure, ensuring large-area contact and tight grip with the conductors to prevent creep. During installation, it automatically aligns the center position of bare conductors.
3. Diverse Specifications
Available in various specifications to meet requirements of different current and voltage classes. Common cable sizes include 35mm², 50mm², 70mm², etc. Standard hole spacing options include 120mm and 200mm, with other specifications also available.
1. Excellent Electrical Performance
The brazed joint offers good electrical and thermal conductivity, effectively reducing contact resistance, minimizing power loss and heat generation, and ensuring reliable electrical contact performance, making it suitable for permanent connections.
2. Reliable Mechanical Strength
Formed by forging extruded aluminum rods, it has a dense texture and high strength, capable of withstanding various harsh environments and bearing certain tensile forces and mechanical stresses to ensure the safe operation of the power grid.
3. Good Corrosion Resistance
To enhance corrosion resistance, the copper-clad part is typically fully tinned, which effectively resists external environmental erosion and extends service life.
1. Electrical Connection
Mainly used to connect the outgoing terminals of substation busbar down-leads with electrical equipment (such as transformers, circuit breakers, disconnectors, "wall bushing insulators", achieving reliable electrical connections between equipment and ensuring the continuity and safety of power transmission.
2. Adaptability to High-Current Transmission
With the construction of large-capacity substations, the cross-section of main conductors continues to increase. Using two ordinary steel-core aluminum stranded wires with large cross-sections arranged separately to form double conductors can increase transmission capacity. The SSY double-conductor brazed compression-type equipment clamp is suitable for connecting such double conductors to meet the requirements of high-current transmission.
